How to make oolong tea

How to brew Oolong Tea

Warm it up

Warm the Teapot by pouring hot boiling water into the teapot, pitcher & cups to heat your teaware, then drain the water.

Scoop the tea

Choose your perfered type of Oolong tea and take out the leaves with a tea scoop, add them into your teapot gently.

Absorb aroma

Soak the tealeaves with boiling water, immediatly pour it into the pitcher and into the cups so they absorb the fragrance.

Brew the tea

Now add water to the pot and cover it for about 1 minute. Then pour the liquid with a strainer into the pitcher and cups.

Inhale aroma

Enjoy inhaling the tea fragrance by smelling the cup or the downside of the teapot lid before finally tasting the tea.

Evaluation of Oolong Tea

Professional tea evaluation uses a 150ml cup and 200ml bowl. Smell the dry tea fragrance before making the tea. Put 3 grams of tea leaves into the cup and infuse 150 ml boiling water – then wait for 5 minutes. After, pour the tea liquid into the bowl. Now its time to judge the color, taste and have a look at the brewed tea leaves. The best way to judge a tea is by having a look at the shape of the tea leaves, color of the tea itself and surely the final taste, flavour and fragrance of the tea.
